A Moonlit Promise

本作品以鹽水最具代表性的「蜂炮」為視覺核心，將其衝向天空的動能凝縮為造型語彙，象徵地方文化的勇氣、祝福與凝聚力。內部結構採萬花筒概念，邀請小朋友以自身感受與想像描繪鹽水元素，並透過重複、鏡射、堆疊形成多層次畫面。當觀者向作品內部凝視時，映入眼簾的是由童心構築而成、千變萬化的鹽水風景：既熟悉又新奇，既傳統又充滿未來感。作品期望以孩子純真的視角重新詮釋在地文化，讓蜂炮的光、能量與祈願被轉化為共享的視覺記憶，邀請人們在觀看的瞬間重新感受鹽水的生命力與文化延續。

This work takes Yanshuei’s most iconic cultural symbol—the “Beehive Fireworks”—as its visual core, distilling the upward force of the rockets into a formal vocabulary that symbolizes the community’s courage, blessings, and collective spirit. The internal structure adopts the concept of a kaleidoscope, inviting children to depict elements of Yanshuei  based on their own feelings and imagination. Through repetition, mirroring, and layering, these drawings form a multi-layered visual field.

When viewers gaze into the piece, they encounter a shifting Yanshuei landscape built from childlike creativity—familiar yet novel, traditional yet full of futurism. The work aims to reinterpret local culture through the pure perspectives of children, transforming the light, energy, and wishes of the Beehive Fireworks into a shared visual memory. It invites people to rediscover the vitality and cultural continuity of Yanshuei in the very moment of viewing.
